We believe that early and intensive interventions are the key to making a difference for the child who is showing the first signs of autism. Recent studies are supporting this view. For example, see this report of a recent study that appeared in the Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
ipAn is actively seeking ways to help early and intensive treatment to happen. This includes working with partners to ensure that early interventions for autism are embedded in the planning and delivery of new and existing services.
ipAn also raises funds to help contribute to the costs of treatment for families whose child might not otherwise receive help.
